Description
The ATLAS detector produces several GB of raw data every second and will produce tens of GB/s by the end of the decade. Raw data is only a small percentage of ATLAS data. It is the initial input to a complex workflow consisting of event reconstruction, simulation, and analysis applications, the outcome of which are hundreds of cutting-edge physics results.
