News

Description

The News content type is used to encapsulate information about an outside article. Information used to create a News content item include the title of the article, a brief summary, the date it was originally published, the link to the article, and the news source the article is from.

The News content type is mostly used in automatic feeds such as the “In the News” page and the special “In the News” block on the home page. Both pages are automatically updated when a News content item is created, highlighting the most recent news articles. These content items link directly to the article when clicked.

Examples of News content types can be found on the “In the News” page of the “Latest” menu.
