Lifetime Achievement Award
The US ATLAS Lifetime Distinction/Achievement Award recognizes individuals who are members of US ATLAS institutions who have contributed to US ATLAS in the following ways:
1. Scientific Distinction over a significant period which brings credit to his or her institution and the United States' effort in ATLAS.
2. Leadership Distinction over a significant period in US ATLAS or ATLAS as a whole which has been of critical importance in scientific, technical, or institutional management and organization within US ATLAS.
3. Administrative Distinction over a significant period which has been of crucial importance in service of the many operations and construction projects that makes US ATLAS a success.
Each of these distinctions imply a measure of dedication and service on behalf of US ATLAS beyond that normally expected of ATLAS colleagues.
